Delicious rolls covered in a sweet, lemony glaze!
EASY LEMON MONKEY BREAD

INGREDIENTS:

  • 12 Frozen Rhodes? Dinner Rolls (or other frozen rolls), thawed but still cold
  • zest of two lemons
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Citrus glaze:

  • 1 Tablespoon butter, melted
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
EASY LEMON MONKEY BREAD


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cut rolls in half and place in a 9x13-inch baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl combine lemon zest and sugar; set aside.
  3. Drizzle 1/4 cup melted butter over rolls and sprinkle on zest/sugar mixture, reserving half of mixture to sprinkle on just before baking.
  4. Cover rolls with saran wrap and let rise until doubled in size.
  5. Remove saran wrap and sprinkle on remaining mixture.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven.
  8. Whisk together glaze ingredients and drizzle over top of rolls
