Easy Gluten Free Skillet Cocktail Meatballs

INGREDIENTS:
For the Cocktail Meatballs:
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons gluten free Worcestershire sauce

For the Cocktail Meatball Sauce:

  • 2 cups gluten free ketchup
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 teaspoon Creole mustard
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoon gluten free barbecue sauce
  • salt black pepper, and cayenne pepper to taste
Easy Gluten Free Skillet Cocktail Meatballs


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place ground beef in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Place the onion, bell pepper, celery, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce in blender or food processor. Pulse until liquefied.
  3. Pour the mixture into the ground beef, and use your hands to work the mixture into the beef. (Do not overwork the beef mixture or your meatballs will be tough.)
